New York Mets

The New York Mets, established in 1962, have had a roller-coaster history filled with notable highs and lows. The team has won two World Series titles, in 1969 and 1986. The 1969 “Miracle Mets” are particularly renowned for their surprising championship win. The Mets have had many notable players, including Tom Seaver, Mike Piazza, and David Wright. The team has a passionate fan base and a strong rivalry with the New York Yankees, known as the “Subway Series”.
